Back in the Place Where I Belong

First day of my second attempt at a Junior year at CCS in Detroit. No I didn't fail the first one. I dropped out, I needed a break from this crazy college and I needed to figure out who I was and what I really wanted.

I sit here in the cafe with a feeling of immeasurable optimism for the upcoming year and my place in this school. I am surrounded by America's most talented up and coming designers and creatives, artists and interpretators. I feel truly at home again, a feeling I haven't felt in a very long time.

Everything is right with the world. I am where I was always meant to be, I just needed to figure that out the hard way.

So much work will be submitted in the coming months as my creativity flows in tidal waves once again.

:faint: im so embarrasses : ( my gallery is like... bleh. lol i used to do all these crazy works and stuff before the summer. but somehow i fell into that whole "anime/manga" thing. its fun and easy, but not as exciting... thing is, DA is like made of those weird anime fans haha! i wonder what people would think if i posted a portrait drawing!

Don't be embarrassed at all Minnie...the way I look at it is you're only 16, you have soooo many years ahead of you to become an amazing artist. You have to start off somewhere and your start has been pretty good in my book. You gallery will become what you want it to be soon enough darling :]

im getting so picky with what to post! i have a few that i like, but i dont feel good enough. :/ the egotistic maniac in me wants to impress you so badly lol!!! i think this weekend, since its a 3 day weekend, i'll draw something new and show you that haha

im kinda waiting to wake up and be like, "my art is fuckin awesome!", but i've yet to do that... haha maybe i should work on that confidence thing first? lol i dunno, im going a bit crazy right now D: the drama that comes with highschool is catching up to me.. (its only been the first week of school, wtf!)

I like your tattoo designs, i made one similar but never finished it.
